Pitches v Pods

I see in the August mag that the Club has been listening to us.  Great - they're going to trial allowing us to book either grass or HS on some sites and they are trying to increase the number of sites to provide more pitches.  Then I read that they are going
to introduce camping pods on three sites next month on a trial basis.  Surely these pods will reduce the number of touring pitches?  True, only six in the trial but is this the thin end of the wddge?  C&CC have had these pods for some years but does anyone
think there is a call for them in the CC network, and has anyone ever expressed a wish to have them?
