Quality of CL sites

Just been browsing for c.l.s in Dorset and came across one in the area which  we want to visit.Checked out members reviews and of the three reviews it seems none would stay on site again.Reading between the lines of reviews i got the idea that the site is
a right mess.Is there any follow up by the club when poor reviews are given and if it`s that bad why is it still listed.
