Oh no my caravan is leaking!(Moved from New to Caravanning)
I collected my Bailey Ranger 2007 after its annual service yesterday and was told by the technician that I had water ingress in my beloved caravan, one area at 70% and another at 20% this seems to be due to small cracks on the corner of the front and rear
panels near where the roof meets the sides. I am told the only real way to remedy this is to replace the panels, an enourmous cost! Initially I think I will buy a breathable cover for the van to keep out the worst of the winter weather, my caravan is stored
in quite an exposed storage facility and then have it checked again at the start of the new season to see how it has faired over winter. My technician seem to think that the problem may be due to last years bad winter. Does anyone have any thoughts, experience
or advice on this subject?
