First time, Crete or Peloponnesus?

Dear friends,

For the first time I am planning to rent a motorhome abroad with my wife and kids at 3 and 8. I contacted a rental company in Greece. He offered me either rent Hymer 574 in Crete or Autotroller 2 in Peleponnesesus. As a first timer with family in abroad
, my questions are;

- which country should I start our caravanNing adventure in Europe?

- what about Greece? suggested locations? Anyone ever experienced?

- what about the caravan types offered?

- any other comments, tips?
