Could not log out at Abbey Wood today!
I have been using the internet without problem for the past 8 days whilst at Abbey Wood but when I logged on this evening about 1715 I got the page that said I had used 3 hours and 57 minutes of a 5 hour voucher but then when I proceeded to go to the internet
and visit web pages I could not access any at all. I repeatedly tried to log out and I could not get the page to do so to display. Realising I was likely having my credit deducted I kept on trying and even switched off the lap top and switched it back on again
to no avail.
Eventually I finally was successful in getting a web page and then immediately got the log out page and logged off. The screen indicated I had been connected, and charged, for 43 minutes of use.
As you can imagine I was not happy and I really feel that this level of service is not acceptable. What would have happened had I just logged on with a full £20 of credit and was unable to log off and had to go out, the full credit could have gone.
I mean it is not good if you cannot log on but at least you do not lose your credit, when you manage to log on, cannot go anywhere and then lose your credit it is taking the biscuit. This system is not suitable with these faults and problems.
I shall be seeking some credit for the time lost without service, what do you think my chances are. I have read some very poor experiences from Airangel on here but if the Club cannot resolve the situation I shall be extremely disappointed as I feel I have
paid for a service that I have not had, would you pay for a pint of beer that the bartender spilt before you got it! I shall be taking it up with the Club when I return home and have a reliable connection.
I then tried to post this topic and it would not upload so here goes again. Failed again, it said I had limited access to the Club router but no network access, Try again.
