Isabella Sun windbreak which is best value?
We have just returned from our first trip abroad and what a steep learning curve it was for us new campers. We have a motorhome with a sun canopy and took a very old beach windbreak with us. On some sites we felt we would have benefitted from a more modern, larger, windbreak to give a little privacy from passers-by. We saw lots of windbreaks being used, some to completely enclose their pitches but the only make we could recognise was an Isabella Sun canopy which retails at around £135, HERE, and although it appears to have special fittings there is no real explanation of what these are or do so I cannot make some informed decisions on whether to spend this amount of money. We are looking at buying one that will last a long time for this purpose.
I have seen DSB’s post on a windbreaker which he uses for cooking and I have asked him about it in another post on cooking outdoors so may end up with two but the one I am looking to buy here is purely for privacy and will remain in one position I guess when on site.
Does anyone have the Isabella Sun who can tell me what the special system actually is and whether it is worth the considerably more money?
Or can anyone recommend an alternative. We want something in a solid material without the window panels and preferably in a grey colour, not all the stripes.
Regards, Roy
