Here is a question re electrical invertors
I have finally found a reasonably quiet clip on 6” fan to use in the bedroom of our MH. The existing one is very powerful and 12v which was great as we have a 12v socket there but it is too noisy to sleep with.
The new one is 240v and 15w but I have no 240v supply up there. I do have a small 130w invertor which makes a slight noise when plugged into the 12v supply but this would be drowned out by the fan noise.
Is it OK, safe etc. to run a 240v 15w fan all night of such an inverter or would I really need to get 240v supply into the bedroom area.
I have tried for over a year to get a 12v fan that is quiet enough to sleep with but cannot find one anywhere.
Any thoughts from those who can help with such necessary electrical knowledge would be most appreciated.
