The inconvenience or storing away from home

We are in process of relocating and we will lose the big garage we've enjoyed next to the house, which has been an extremely convenient place to park our MH when not in use.

I am considering whether and how important it is to have the MH so handily placed when the cost of creating special parking at home for it might be considerable.  At our potential new home it will cost about £8,000 for groundworks to create an extra gateway
and hardstanding in the garden.  Is it worth spending so much when storage parking will be available withing a few miles and we can bring the MH round to load up before departure anyway?

Solar panels would appear to solve the battery top up problem in storage these days so why not use storage parking?
