Trying to book for more than a weekend

I need to have a gripe!

My husband has a medical condition that means that we cannot book very far in advance. After and appointment today we were given a 2 month window in which to book trips away. I find it so frustrating that there are many club sites where we cannot book for a week as all the weekends are booked up.

I understand that people work full time (been there ourselves in the past) but I do wonder how many of these weekend bookings are actually used? It's just making it very difficult to find sites to stay on. Even is the case with some CLs as well.
