Sustained spam attack

This morning CT is under a sustained foreign spam attacked.  I have so reported at least 20 posts and more keep coming.  I just do not understand why the CC lets any Tome, Dick or Harry (other names available) post.  Most organisations have websites where
non members can view but only members can post, lets be honest thats the 20th century way and we are now in the 21st century
