Why are we doing it???

I'm curios to know why people are starting threads on all topics here in the intro section. There's a section for discussion about CL's but it's empty and there's a big thread about CL's here in the intro section.

I always thought the intro section was for new members to say hello, and then go post your questions etc in the appropriate section. :-)
