I have got two new Pet Passports as the other ones are full because, I travel a lot with the dogs and I kept haveing the Examination part filled in and then used other parts of the Passport as there is only 7 entries.        Am I right in saying that the
Examination part is NOT required on the return to UK, only the wormer.

I second what Groovy has said. Our dogs always have an examination and the worming while at the Vet. We need to get 2 new passports before we travel this year as they as full up too.

The medical check, and completion of the relevant section in the pet passport, is only mandatory if you have (I think) three or more dogs, although the vet will usually give the dog(s) a check up as a matter of course. This is to monitor show dogs or dog
    breeders

This was the case last summer but you should always check the relevant legislation with the Defra website. On the occasions I have been in contact they have always been very helpful.

I have now checked with Defra and Eurotunnel.(do not know about the ferries). They will only check Sect 3: ID of animal, Sect 4: Rabies Vac and Sect 7: wormer treatment. You do not need Sect 10: examination. There are 28 spaces for wormer  but only 7 for
    examination. So it seems correct

The examination section on my dogs passport was also almost full so I copied the one last clear section on my printer transfered it to another sheet and ended up with a correct size page to fit into the Passport, I stapled this sheet onto the sheet that
    was full.

Section 10 is not a legal requirment so my "fix" should be okay.

A german Vet suggested the above remedy to me!
