Safety Warnings on European campsites

We are told that all the signes, marker posts and strict pitching rules on Club sites are for our safety. If this is the case why did the Club in their Caravan Europe books not warn me about the dangers I face when crammed into a campsite over there. You
should as a club look after your members and point out these dangers when abroad, or don't they count over there.
