New van warranty

seem to remember a thread about this but can't find it.  Anyway a lot of folk seem to be put off from buying a new van away from where they live as they believe that they will have to drive all the way back to the original dealer for warranty work.  We have brought a new van 170 miles from home so I went to a dealer 30 miles from home explained the situation and he assured me that  they would deal with our van as if we had purchased it from them.  In fact he said the vast majority of dealers take the same view as they don't want to lose business.  So get out there and find a bargain
