Tammygirl glad your OH results OK, good to hear results given immediately. Hope we get same result tomorrow.

You've been unlucky regarding boiler service. Is that British Gas? Can't believe they cancel without telling you, oh perhaps I can . If you didn't have an answer phone it still wouldnt have been acceptable but not to have left a message unbelievable
. I do hope you'll be taking this up at a very high level??

Yes activity seems low on CT generally lately, I keep getting various error messages whether I just read or login.  . It will all be better soon......

I'd love the jetstream to move north again, but looking at the forecast doesn't seem likely. Hope you've got your thermals out, very chilly overnight for you brrrrrrrrrrrr.

Yes great to get the results straight away hope all's well tomorrow for your OH.

Boiler plan is with Worcester Bosch, OH has filled out a complaint form on line, should hear from them within 48 hours, he's requested them to call us. They should be calling tomorrow to make another appointment Undecided

    Yes soon I'm sure Wink

Think we are looking at -5 here tonight, Perth will be a bit warmer at -2, we are a good bit higher than them, so always a few degrees differance. I don't mind the cold weather I got used to it when we lived in North Germany, it could get to -20c at nights
there, now that's cold. We often had days where the temp was -10c but when its that cold its usually so dry it doesn't have the same feeling.  When its cold in the UK its usually damp and cold and that's not nice. I love the sun and blue skies, much prefer
it to rain and grey skies.

Our new caravan step arrived today. It's a double one. Mrs H has complained for about ten years that the single step wasn't tall enough.

Never say that I don't listen to my wife.......

Mr Brue has been cider making today, a neighbour has been telling him a better way to do it but they were both out in the twilight looking wet and miserable surrounded by crushed apples and juice. However, the end results will be good. Happy

    Boiler service? - what's that?

I've just lit the fire today for the first time this year. Hopefully not too environmentally unfriendly - it is wood rather than coal.

Back from Chapel Lane today.  Weather seems to have cheered up a little now we're back at home.

Thanks for the timely reminder Red face.   I must remember to book the boiler service.

We put them in the washer when the calf has grown too big - otherwise they stay on - just adjust the straps. The programe is on tomorrow at 05:45 - I'll post a link to Iplayer

I was on a single track road today driving the bin lorry when 2 very sorry looking dogs stopped in front of me, a cocker & a lurcher cross with no collars on a look around saw no owners & both dogs were lifting their paws due to walking through the salt
on the road, we took them up to the local vet ( they were so happy to get in the cab out the cold & wet) the vet found both were chipped & contacted the owner who was going to pick them up, apparently not the 1st time the 2 dogs have went missing
