Can't help you with the TV question, but for keeping in touch I  use free wi fi wherever I can find it for general Internet,  sending e mails and talking via Skype,  and I carry a Pay as you go phone without any monthly fees which charges only  1 penny to send a text ,  4 pence a minute to call home, and nothing to receive either of those.

Depending on which site you are going to be rallying on you may find that it has full internet use free of charge, sometimes its free at say the office area, or restaurant, sometimes it site wide. Sometimes you can buy wifi for just a few euros, it gets
cheaper the more days you buy.

English speaking tv is a whole lot harder, again depending on which site you are on. Some sites La Manga for one have a system where you can hire a dish and you get english sky channels. Other sites will arrange for you to have a dish put on your pitch or
a cable which connects to a large dish for you to receive english tv, at a cost of course. To receive english satellite you will require a 1.4m dish and a freesat box, the dish is of course too big to carry around with you. We have an 85cm dish but don't get
many english channels in Spain unless you take a sky box with you that has paid channels. Even if you do take your own system you will not get BBC or ITV, since they moved the spot beam a couple of years ago.

There is also another way that you can get uk tv and through Filmon, its available on the internet but you do need a fairly good signal to receive it or it buffers, that's where buy wifi can be of benefit if it is a good signal. Hope this is of help.

Oh in that case I don't think you will have any problems with wifi either as they also have system that you can have on your pitch, we went for a look around last year when we were over, we got talking to a couple who had arrived a couple of days earlier
and they were already setup with the tv and wifi, they were on a rally with the other club and were staying for 3 mths. There was plenty of help from the reception staff and the rally marshalls, plus lots of returning ralliers. Have a good trip, wish it was
me going back to Spain but not this year i'm afraid other plans.

Thanks for the help, i am excited its a plan my husband and i had, but now its just me so the "blue" side of caravanning is a learning curve. Ive had a long time doing "pink" jobs. Tv reception was his forte.
