Why All the Disruption

I can see no reason why posters wish to post a series of disruptive threads. Do they dislike the forum. If so why don't they simply post elsewhere?

Do they wish to give the mods a hard time? 

I can understand totally, given some of the idiotic responses that the topic might gather that it will no doubt have to be closed. If that is the case I apologise unresservedly to the moderators. But felt that I had to say that the behaviour in posting disruptive threads and also in hijacking existing threads does no favours either to the forum or those wishing to post sensibly and can only drive poster away.
