Rear Tail Lights

Not experienced but canny with safety etc. Getting van ready for first trip in two years. Alls well except for high level left tail light. Its red/clear with a push in lamp which i replaced today. The lamp i removed is apparently undamaged! Could it be a
fuse issue as wiring is sound and tight?? Its a swift conqueror 630 2008 year. I guess this king of routine thing is common across many makes too?? Hope to get and answer from somebody. Thankyou.
