large fracture in Autotrail bodywork

Looking for some help / advice. After unsheeting my Autotrail today ready for a trip this weekend i was shocked to find two large fractures to the side of the bodywork from roofline diagonally down to the rear and down to towards the cab. The van has been
under wraps since October and parked on level driveway. The van is 07 plate and has only covered 8000miles. After speaking to insurance it appears that if there is no obvious cause they will not pay for repair. Any advice would be appreciated.
