Travelling over Pyrenees on E9 Spain to France

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the E9 route from Baga, Spain over the Pyrenees into France is fairly OK to tow a caravan. (via Aux-les-Thermes). We are staying near Pedraforca and didnt want to go back across to the coastal motorway.Thanks for any help!
