Hitching height for Unicorn Barcelona

I have recently fitted a new detachable Brink towbar to my 2014 Kia Sorento. I intend towing a 2015 Bailey Unicorn Bercelona. I have two questions. The hitching height reccomended by Bailey is 385 mm +/- 35. Is this to the top of the ball or to the centre?

Second question. My towball height is 420 mm to the centre. Caravan tows slightly up at the nose. The towbar was ordered and fitted by a specialist specifically for the car. Before I go back to the fitter I would be interested to hear if anyone has any advice
or similar experience.

My FL2 is also at the top end of the measurement recommended by the EC directive, which is 350mm to 420mm with the car
laden, the measurement is taken from the centre of the ball.

Once the car is loaded up and the caravan hitched the noseweight brings it down to 390 / 400mm and it looks OK. I would imagine the only option for adjustment would be to loosen and make use of any play in the bolt holes.

There is nothing to say actually that a caravan has to be level, and some would say a nose slightly down is advantageous whereas others would prefer nose up to give the jockey wheel some clearance.

As Dave says, it's within the tolerances prescribed in the regulations.

My previous Westfalia Detachable was 0.44 to the TOP of the towball unhitched,  caravan (Lunar) was level when hitched, the current car with a Bosal Towbar is 0.42 to the TOP of the towball. The current 2016 Lunar Handbook Spec. quotes a hitchlock height
of 0.44m for all current models
