rust marks on a gas cooker top-plate

I have a few rusty marks on the  metal top-plate of my caravan gas cooker. I think it is a ceramic enamel coating (black gloss).  I am having trouble finding a brush on paint repair kit  which is sufficiently heat resistant. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
