How much does it cost to make a hard standing pitch?  How long is a piece of string?  It must cost a fair amount though, in time and effort as well as cost.  Why then, after going to all that trouble, are there so many hard standings that aren't level?  Why
make them and still leave a slope, even if it's only a slight one?   We recently went to a site where the side to side wasn't level.  We needed to have one wheel on a ramp.  "It don't make sense" as Sir Alan Sugar might say.   End of rant.
