CC forum layout - its so hard to navigate! :-(

Love the idea of a new club forum, but surely I'm not the first or the last person to say 'Why is it so difficult to navigate round it?'

I've used loads of other forums (e.g SubaruForester.org) which are easier to navigate, easier to post comments and which are far easier to edit your own comments. I can't even see an option to pull-up all of my previous posts/threads so I can quickly jump
back it... why's the layout so poor?
