Travelling with a Caravanstore installed

I note that the FIAMMA recommend that the Caravanstore is not fixed to the van when travelling. Well, they would wouldn't they?

But it is impractical to remove it every time we move site - which might be every 3-4 days on our tour of France.

Has anybody had a bad experience when travelling with the Caravanstore, or any other roll-up sun awning for that matter, fixed to the van whilst travelling?
