Hiring a car , Dordogne

Year 3 and I have learnt such a lot from the discussion topics . Feeling a lot more confident I am intending to head further south to the Dordogne, I intend to  have week to rest up in Brantome but would really like to continue further south,and then  find
a site near a town/village that has car rental facilities on site or near by.Quick background to my reasoning , I am driving navigating etc single handed , dog on board,multiply disabled husband on board and drivingin g a small motorhome ( nuevo) . It would
make sightseeing in some of the more dramatically sited towns /villages a lot easier. I would welcome any advice or suggestions.
