We had been enjoying a 12 day Christmas and New Year holiday at one or our favourite club sites, when in the early hours of the last day, and unfortunately the day the site was due to close,
I became unwell and was taken to hospital by ambulance and subsequently admitted.  When my wife approached the warden to advise him of the situation, she was met with anything but a sympathetic response.  My wife was told the van had to be moved.  There was
no concern for her welfare and no assistance or help offered in any way shape or form.  Understandably my wife was very stressed, over 100 miles away from home and some 20 miles away from the hospital where I had been taken.  I appreciate that what had happened
had put the warden in an awkward situation, but the way my wife was treated I find deplorable.

The day was saved when my wife contacted a CL that we use regularly.  Not only did the owner allow my wife to take the caravan there despite the site being closed, but went with her to collect
it, helped her pack everything away, gave her the confidence to tow it as I usually do the towing, helped her set it up at the CL and looked after her wonderfully until I was discharged from hospital.  To be fair to the wardens when my wife went back to move
the caravan they were far more helpful and sympathetic, but by then it was too late, and I feel very angry about how my wife was treated at such a difficult time.
