Camping cheques and ferry crossing

Back in January we booked our Poole/Cherbourg crossing for September and ordered a number of camping cheques as we were led to believe that there was a substantial discount with Brittany Ferries if ordering Camping Cheques at the time of booking.  I have
just done a check on prices by getting quotes and find that there is no such discount offered by Brittany Ferries.  As, thus far, we have only paid the deposit I am hoping that the Club will not charge me when I request the cancellation of the camping cheques.
It seems to me that the ACSI scheme has many more sites  in France which stay open into October or even November.  Many of the camping cheque sites in France close well before the end of September.  Furthermore, many of the sites in the ACSI scheme work out
at well below the £14.95 per night camping cheque fee.  The other point I have noticed is that there are some sites in the ACSI scheme which have no holiday chalets or fixed tents just touring pitches.  Such sites are likely to be delightfully sparsely used
during the months of September and October.
