Journey to Embrun

I'm new to this forum but thought I would be cheeky and ask a question without reading through all the other messages.  Someone may have the answer straight away.  

I'm planning a trip to Embrun in the French Alps and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for overnight stop overs along the route?

Any help will be gratefuuly received.
