Well the Day finally dawned, yesterday we collected our new Caravan. It's nice to have our dining room back, after spending several weeks storing the stuff from our old van, don't think we could go through all the hassle again, returned home today
totally exhausted!

Think we must be getting old n grumpy with energy levels not as good as they used to be, or we thought they were. After the handover Gill announced that she had left her change of clothes at home (stop over at the dealers for the night) so in the middle
of putting things in to the new van a quick dash to the shops before they closed (more expense) on locking the van I went to set the alarm, not, would not work :( Back to site no gas spanner! Quick dash to the accessory shop just before they closed to be informed
they had just sold the last one, by now we are starving and need some food, luckely they had one in the spares dep't that they lent us, off to fill the Aqua roll and the tap on the site is inside a box so can't position the Aqua roll under the tap, guess where
the filler tube is? Yes at home, back to the shop! Gill starts to prepare tea, new oven = terrible smell, just gets better lol, van should have come with a supplied TV, where is it? Can't find it, back to shop, oh dear sorry forgot to put it in, there now
locked away untill Monday, can it get any worse............ Yes, asked for a weight upgrade and they forgot to change the plate! It's now getting extremely cold in the van after being assured the Alde heating that we have never had before was up and running,
err not, LCD display all iluminated, but the master switch that we were told was for the water heating was in the off position, but wow once up to temperature we were very impressed. The new pride and joy that should now be at home with us so we can sit there
and admire it is not, left it at the dealers while they sort the alarm and the weight upgrade, round two next Thursday, now going for a long lye down in a darkened room........... Caravaning, don't you just love it, no more changing, I have heard that getting
a divorce is expensive.......... Have we done the right thing, our old van was just over four years old, and from day one when we collected it gave us over four years trouble free service, and totally damp free. But on the + side we absolutely love the new
one.

Stresed out, Allan & Gill.
