Moral Support

I appreciate that there has been lots of advice on the forum for first time trips abroad and how easy it is, but what we would really like is to 'follow my leader' for moral support and guidance. We are not keen to use the organised group trips with outings
arranged from the site. We just need to get from A to B, to be shown the ropes and then do our thing once arrived. Any ideas please?
