Tolls in France or via Belgium Luxembourg?

We're heading from Calais to north of Lake Konstance in Germany start of July. I've got a sketchy plan of sites for our trip via France but OH is now suggesting to avoid tolls via Belgium Luxemburg. Your advice would be much appreciated as I'm 'Googled
Out'.
