A Switzerland and Italy trip in 2015

After avoiding Switzerland for many years we have now decided that the time has come to "bite the bullet" and buy the Vignettes and pay a visit.  We usually spend anything from 6 to 8 weeks during May and June.  Staying at both "Caravan Cheque" and "ACSI"
sites.

At the moment we are just thinking about where to stop, and perhaps to include the Italian Lakes as well. (Not Garda as we have already been there).  We'll be travelling down from Zeebrugge and think that our first stop will be in or around Luxembourg, then
on to Basel.  The site at Interlaken, "Lazy Rancho", seems to be a favourite with "posters" and so that might be a possibility for a week or so.  After that we would like to move on to Locarno or Lugano for maybe another week or so.

Another stop at a different lake would be a possibility too but I don't know which would be the easiest to access.

We haven't got as far as thinking about the return yet, but perhaps through Geneva and France rather than Austria. When in France we try to avoid the peages as the other half tends to get a bit uptight about the toll booths.

Anyway any help would be much appreciated.
