going on site with a works van

Hi just wondered if anyone knows if you are allowed on sites with a works van - we have booked to go away for the jubilee weekend and hopefully will be going in the car but its been making a strange noise and is going to the garage Thursday - my concern
is that it it something big and we cannot have it back by Saturday we will only have the OH van to tow the van with and he is self employed so has his name on the van - does anyone know if CC sites allow this type of van on site? - it will be too late to cancel
(and I dont want to!!!)
