Hello, and my first question about tents on CL's

Hi everyone. This has probably been brought up before, so apologies in advance.

I visited a CL today to have look for a possible later stay, only to find it full, and I mean full of tents. This cant be right can it?  There were no vans on the site. It was acting as on overspill for an adjacent camp site. Views?
