For those of you who know your shopping in France!  My sister - in - law requested I bring over consommé a few years back - as it wasn't available in France - and it seems Waitrose is the only place you can get it in the UK - but is that really so?  I asked
in Leclerc today and received a big blank but - of course consommé is a French word!  Campbells used to do a nice one - but sister in law missed answering my email while I was still in England - surely surely you can buy Consommé in France?  She has some great
recipes using it as a sort of gelatine addition to various things well as being great "nursery/sick room" fodder.  So can I find her some in France in the next 6 days before I get to her?  The helpful lady in Leclerc was a total blank and my French didn't
stretch to saying its a "clear" beef soup!  (yes Waitrose do a chicken variety too - or they did last year!)  It is now a challenge for me to try and find some!
