Generators and 2 stoke oil

Looking at getting a generator most appear to be 2 stoke engines.. silly question time but is the oil for a generator 2 stroke engine any different to say oil for a two stoke lawn mower? I have some Halfords 2 stroke oil I use for the mower so wondering
if I would need anything different for a gene for the caravan.
