freelander2 towbar

I've recently bought a 07 freelander2 complete with a witter R40 towbar. When hitch up its very nose down to the point its a struuggle to spin the jockey wheel round,and theres little clearance for the jockey when driving. I towed this same caravan with
a galaxy and everything was fine. The fl2 has a much higher noseweight allowance.The height of the centre of towball is 39cm when car empty.
