Expandable hose pipes

Hi

Has anyone tried these new expandable hose pipes which seem to be on sale everywhere?  Would they be suitable for connecting to the water supply on a serviced pitch?  Would they be of "food standard"?  They are very light and don't take up much space so
would seem to be ideal for caravanning.
