First Time in France
Hello ! We are new to caravanning & are planning our summer holiday next year (already!). Ive already got so much info from this site and these boards so am hoping someone might be bale to help here !
We are hoping to go to the South of France next August, as we have 2 children, we figured it best to have 2 stopovers each way with a 10 night stay at Frejus. We are both happy drving so thought if we each did 2 and a half hours a day we could have quite
a leisurely journey - does this sound feasible?
I've managed to download the rout on via Michelin but could anyone tell me the best way to find sites to stop at en route or perhaps even recommend sites? Ideally sites with a pool & play area for the kids to let off steam after driving.
Anybody think we are being optimistic going so far for our first overseas trip? I did think that if we booked to go to the South of France in August then perhaps we should try something shorter distance in June first - perhaps Brittany? (my husband is an
HGV driver so not concerned about the long distances but the kids and I are!!)
Thanks so much in advance
