Wonderful to watch. Not cold or berbering eaten by midges

St Piran's crab it is then. Good choice, but unfortunately when I tried to vote for it I got an error message! (Where CT leads, BBC obviously follows! Laughing)

Did you listen to interview with her last Saturday morning on radio 4 Saturday Live? Thought about you when I heard she was on but didn't know where you'd posted!

No, I didn't hear that programme, but I actually do think that she's a lovely lady. I'm aware that she had a double mastectomy and think that her cheerful personality is all the more to her credit.

Completely agree. Hadn't realised she lives in South Africa now. Probably still available on radio I player.

Why are the presenters wearing so many layers of clothing? I've not worn more than a short sleaved shirt for the last two weeks......and a thin waterproof the last few days.

just listen to what they were saying about how the wildlife were coping with the sudden change in weather and the clue may be there!

I like the programme but that Chris guy comes over as a bit weird and not of this world.  The other presenters are spot on and sensible.

Weather on the East Coast has see-sawed between hot and cold with high winds and heavy downpours.  Some species cope quite well and others really struggle

I think our little female cat now recognises the Springwatch theme music. Despite it starting half an hour later this evening she came trotting into the living room just as it started and is now happily watching it.Smile

Off to Minsmere today so we will wait and see whats about.  Be glad when its back to normal, less people disturbing the normal peace and quiet.  Will go up to Westleton/Dunwich Common to see if there are any Dartford Warblers showing.

Probably be the last opportunity to visit until September

Actually, he has Asperger's Syndrome, which often makes sufferers slightly obsessive.

Ian, 'slightly obsessive' is a contradiction in terms. I said pedantic by the way-not obsessive. Have you seen CP with pictures? He looks for the perfect pic constantly. . . .& laughs at Himself for itHappy

It would appear that one great tit chick survived (for the time being) but will be a seriously confused bird for the rest of it's life according to Chris Packham because it will think it is a little tit.
