Is he really a suitable president of the IAAF?

Apart from the fact that he's such a smug git who has never had to do a proper day's work in his life, his reaction to the recent newspaper expose about cheating in athletics was "they have declared war on us".

Clearly his stance is that he will defend athletes, no matter what.

The great problem with doping (and it clearly happened with the UCI and cycling) is that the management of the organisations that run sports wish to defend their sport at all costs......and that is exactly what Coe will do.

He talks about setting up an 'independant body' to look into doping......isn't that what the UK Anti Doping administration and WADA are already supposed to be doing?

Doping is rife in athletics, because the testing is almost non existant.......Coe is the wrong man for the job.
