Where to go for good weather in France?

Hi. We  have the ferry booked, Dover to Dunkirk then we have 30 nights to enjoy. However as it is our first time abroad with the van we aren't sure where to go. We thought about the south around Carcasonne but I felt that would involve to much stopping &
starting. We would like about 2 weeks in a main area. So is the weather nice in June around La Rochelle as we fancy being around the west coast?  Then we would have around 5 days around Normandy on the way back at the beginning of July .  Also any good sites
you would like to recommend?  we are just trying to plan the route so any suggestions welcomed! Thanks
