After many years without any serious attemps on this elusive record it's already been broken 3 time in the last 6 months, with the Australian rider Rohan Dennis having just set a new hour world record of 52.491km in Granges, Switzerland. There are
expected to be attempts this year by 2 Englishmen, Sir Bradley Wiggins & Alex Dowsett.
