How do two couples manage?

We sometimes see caravans being shared by two couples and we always ask ourselves.......how do they manage?

The caravan mostly has a fixed bed these days, so presumably the other couple use the settees made into a bed.

Does everyone then have to go to bed at the same time?

And does one couple have to walk through the bedroom area of the other couple to use the loo? Or does that couple need to have a strong constitution and wait until morning?

And also....don't they just get right on each other's nerves??
