Trolley jack & jacking points
I have an Alko jack but I think that it's a pretty flimsy affair and I don't like to use it when jacking the caravan.
I have bought a trolley jack, which is far better. The trouble is, it can be difficult to find somewhere to position the trolley jack - the mover and the wheel itself get in the way of positioning it under the axle ends.
The jacking brackets for the Alko jack are over to one side, fastened to the side of the chassis and in a far better position. But of course, I cannot put a jack under the axle in that position, without severe risk of damaging it.
The ideal solution would be to have something that sticks into the Alko brackets and can fit on top of the trolley jack head.
Does anyone know of such a thing?
No doubt if I could weld, I could knock something together......but I can't.

You could try looking at garage suppliers as they sell raiser blocks for jacking beams and hoists. They come in different heights and are made of aluminium. Whatever you use make sure it's secure, best of luck.

Ian, I had the same problem. I own a Bailey Valencia Mk1 and I borrowed a spare trolley jack from a mate? It's a nice little job, very compact but very powerful. So nice in fact and so useful I bought it off him!,,When I came to look for the jacking points I couldn't find any? My next move was to ring my service centre from storage as I wanted to remove the wheels, clean the hubs and suspension arms and give the hubs a coat of high temperature paint (for obvious reasons) and the suspension arms a coat or two of Hammerite paint. I also needed to clean the rust from the square tube running under the van on a fairly recently fitted mover. My service centre confirmed there were no jacking points and that the place to jack it was on the ends of the axle plates which come down and bend round the chassis a little. I was doubtful but did it and it was fine. The van lifted easily and I was able to service everything I wanted to including the mover. That looks smart again! The van was attached to the tow car and blocks were placed securely under the axle to stop any chance of someone finding a pair of legs sticking out from underneath the van 2 days later!!! I hate rust!!!
