Safe and sound

I have thought about bolting a safe to the floor of the caravan so when we go away, especially abroad, we can lock documents away like car insurance etc and iPad as we don't want to take it with us everywhere and we think in the caravan it will be safer
than in the car. Anyone else ever fitted a safe?

my dad fitted one as a kid for his cam corded to fit and he used coach bolts so nobody could unbolt it from the outside. 

Worth doing?
