Never judge a book by it cover.
Iv'e just been reading all the complaints regarding kids and some about dogs on site and just want to share that I will now always be open minded. Last year we stayed 3 weeks on a site. Our first neighbours were a lovely couple who we chatted to ocassionally,
they left and a couple arrived with three very large dogs. I immediately thought we would be in for some barking but no, it turned out they were show dogs and were kept in tight check, not allowed to wander and never made a noise. They left and a family with
three children arrived, again I wondered but they were just lovely. So polite and their youngest, James, loved helping his dad around the caravan. Dad called one day to say they were having friends over to the awning in the evening and hoped we would not be
disturbed. We never heard a thing except low chatting. They left and a couple turned up with two dogs, the dogs yapped everytime anyone walked past, the woman spent all day yelling at the dogs to shut up, with no effect. She then spent the rest of the time
moaning very loudly about how awful her dogs were and how noisy they were, we were glad to come home. The moral is you just cant tell, most people are ok and most kids are fine they are just kids.(we do try not to go in the school holidays now we are getting
older) Its all down to how people bring up their kids and dogs and to how thoughtful they are about their neighbours. I tried to look on the bright side, at least I didnt live next door to the loud woman with the two very badly behaved dogs, I could go home.
