Why the26th March?

On trying to book a week away for next March I found I cannot book until the weekend Sat 29th March - we have a family event we need to be away for- but only until the Wednesday 26th March. This means that I will still have to get on line for the Dec 5th booking event to be able, hopefully, to book the last three days of our break. If the CC are allowing us to book up to March then why cut off the booking mid week? Aren't they just encouraging weekend only bookings? Not helpful!
