Eat in or out?

When we had the tent, we often ate out because it was the easy thing to do.......and it didn't seem to cost so much in those days.

When we got a caravan, we initially had a meal out on the odd day - maybe once per week or once per long weekend away.

These days, we hardly ever eat out. We often say that we will go out when we're looking forward to the holiday, but then we get comfy in the 'van and decide not to bother.

I must admit, another reason is the cost of drinks when going out.

Are the various take-aways that visit a lot of sites another option?
